Fourth Element Hood

The Fourth Element Hood is available for wetsuit or drysuit Divers in a 3mm, 5mm or 7mm thickness.

Fourth Element hoods have a simple minimalist design with a smooth Glideskin interior around the face and are produced using stretch neoprene to ensure a comfortable fit.

The short collar suits both dry and wet suits, and micro holes in hood vent air with minimal water ingress.

This hood is warm, compact, stretchy and extremely comfortable.  Many of our staff and fellow DDS Divers use this hood for their everyday diving.

The Fourth Element hoods are a popular option with warm water divers diving on vacation in 3mm, for temperate waters with a 3-5mm wetsuit the 3mm or 5mm hood are popular, while divers diving in thicker wetsuits prefer the 7mm hood, especially with a drysuit.

There is even a 7mm cold water hood version with warm neck collar available for divers with a more traditional wetsuit or a drysuit with a warm neck area to tuck the bib over the neck seal.
