TRIP ITINERARY

Saturday April 6: Arrive in Malta and make your way to the beautifu town of St Julien’s, 15kms from the airport. Spend the evening dining and exploring this lively coastal town.

Sunday April 7:  Take an 8 hour private group tour of amazing Malta. After the tour the group will be transferred to Gozo approx. 45 minutes away. Check into the St Patrick’s Hotel and enjoy your evening.

Monday – Friday: Five days of diving and exploring Gozo underwater. Two dives per day with free time in the afternoons and evening to relax or explore. Transportation included. Enjoy Sea View Rooms at the comfortable and central St Patricks Hotel.

Saturday April 13: Free Day: add more dives, relax or explore Gozo!

Sunday April 14: Check out and take your transfer to the airport for your return flight to Canada. 

DIVING

Gozo is a small island approx only 14 x 7 km but it offers spectacular options for shore diving on the North, South and West coasts.

On the West coast is the famous Blue Hole and Inland Sea from where you can access about 6 different dive sites.

On the South coast, a popular dive site, called Ras il-Hobz, there is a pinnacle that comes up from the deep. Xatt l-Ahmar Bay is home to some of Gozo’s most famous wrecks including, The Hephaestus, Cominoland, Karwela and the Xlendi, all at 130ft.

On the North coast there are also coastal caves including Reqqa Point, Billinghurst Cave, Cathedral Cave and the spectacular Double Arch.

We will be diving with Gozo Diving, a shop that aligns with the same DIR views as DDS. Options to rent pony’s, doubles, etc.

Package includes five days diving, two dives per day with Single tanks, Air Fill, Weights and Guide. Full transportation from the hotel to Gozo Diving and dive sites included.

Water temperature: April is springtime in Malta, water temperatures will be 17 °C (63 °F). Minimum 7mm Wetsuit or Drysuit recommended.

Minimum Advanced Certification & Experienced Divers.

Dive and Stay Package – $1750* CDN

Includes 8 nights accommodation, breakfasts, 10 shore dives with transport, guides, tanks and weights, transfers from Malta to Gozo roundtrip and full day tour of Malta. All rooms double occupancy. Ask about single occupancy and non diver rates.

Not included: flights, most meals, airport transfer on arrival to hotel (approx. 15 kms away), scuba gear and gratuities.

Airfare: Best flight options are Air Canada/ Air Malta with 1 layover in Europe. Current prices range from $1200-$1500 CDN. Ask for a quote on booking your flight or about extending your stay in Malta.

Trip Payments: Deposit due at booking $650CDN. Balance due November 1, 2023. *Advetised price based on current exchange. Final payment may be adjusted based on exchange rate at time of payment.
