Dive Kingston Shipwrecks June 2024

Join Dan’s Dive Shop the weekend of June 14-16, 2024 for some stellar Kingston shipwreck diving. Kingston offers some of the best wreck diving in Eastern Ontario. Highlights of this trip include the incredibly intact Eureka and the 175ft long Comet with two massive 32ft wide side paddles.

Diving

Dive sites include but are not limited to: The Comet, Eureka, Glendora, George T Davy, Cornwall & Wolfe Islander II. Depths average 70 – 120ft. Boat diving begins Saturday with 2 dives Saturday and 2 dives Sunday, morning and afternoon charters available.

Diver Level: Minimum Advanced certification with cold water experience. Drysuit or good quality 7mm recommended. DDS Charters are Tech and Rec friendly.

Take your PADI Advanced Course in Kingston. Start your PADI Advanced Course with your eLearning at home. Then meet your DDS Instructor Friday afternoon for shore diving to start your training and then complete the rest of your training on the boat Saturday and Sunday.

Details

Diving: We have an 8am and 1pm charter available with Pat’s Charters (6 pax). The boat has dry storage, shade, and a marine head onboard. Two dives are planned for both Saturday and Sunday on the 8am and 1pm charter.

Accommodation is in new and comfortable deluxe cabins with full facilities. Each cabin has A/C, full bathroom, partial kitchen, BBQ and group fire pit and patio. Deluxe cabins sleep 3-4 divers per cabin in a mix of bunks and single beds. No meal plan is included in this trip but we will have a fun group BBQ and fire Saturday night.

Cost $540 + HST.  Weekend includes two days boat charters and two nights shared accommodations. Not included are meals, training, tanks, scuba gear & gratuity.

Terms and Conditions

Diver Responsibility: All Divers are responsible for insuring they have the appropriate scuba gear for cold water diving, redundancy and exposure protection. No scuba gear, tanks or weights are included. If rentals are needed the diver is responsible to pick them up in store during retail hours. DDS Charters are not guided, private Divemaster can be arranged for an additional fee. All divers are expected to only attend dives within their diver certification level and experience. Lastly, unsafe divers putting themselves and others at risk may be asked to leave.

Cancellation Policy: All payments are non refundable. If the trip/charter goes full or you are able to fill your spot you will be credited for everything accept a $100 cancellation fee. If the charter is cancelled by the boat operator due to weather or unforeseen events a refund or credit will be issued.
