What will you learn?

The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty course is available for divers or snorkelers as we offer 2 levels of digital underwater photography.

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and with so many underwater cameras to choose from, it has become easier and more fun
than ever to capture images of your underwater scuba diving adventures. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly, whether you
use a point-and-shoot camera or a more complicated mirrorless or
dSLR camera like the many of our divers.

Prerequisites:

PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 10 years old are eligible to take the Digital Underwater Photographer course.

Snorkelers.  Because underwater photography is also popular with snorkelers, there is an option for avid snorkelers and skin divers to complete the course.

Additional Details:

Divers interested in progressing forward can use this course to take them one step closer toward their Master Scuba Diver Rating.

Learn how to take your first underwater photographs or fine tune your existing skills to produce photographs that will stun your friends. You’ll learn the
basics of underwater photography such as composition, Digital Camera Techniques, camera handling, with special emphasis on practical techniques. You’ll learn underwater photography dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You’ll also learn how to care for and maintain your camera equipment.

Cost: $250 + HST, includes PADI eLearning and ecard

Availability:

Start your eLearning at home. Then join us for two days of classroom and open waters dives.

If your a snorkeller ask us about Digital Underwater Photography Level 1 which doesn’t require any open water dives.
