If you’ve ever been diving down south on vacation or been diving locally around our many great local dive sites and wondered “What was that??”, then our PADI Aware Fish Identification Course is the course for you.
The PADI AWARE Fish Identification Specialty course provides you with the fish identification basics so that next time, you know the answer.
This course teaches you the main fish families so that you’ll be able to easily identify the different characteristics to help you identify fish species all over the world. Your dives will also become more interesting as each reef will have its own unique ecosystem.
Over the course of two dives, you’ll learn:
- How to identify characteristics of local fish families and species
- Fish survey techniques and strategies
- How to practice fish identification dive planning, organization and procedures
Prerequisites:
Minimum 10 years old
Open Water Diver
Cost $175+HST with PADI Adventures in Diving Manual.
