The Light Monkey Sidemount BCD has come from years of development with their original experiences with the RaZor Sidemount system, which never came to fruition in manufacturing.  None the Less, Light Monkey has created a one-size-fits-all solution for the traveling sidemount diver or drysuit diving sidemount diver that is easily adjusted for both small and large divers alike.

Fully adjustable torso length allows divers to customize fit for longer or shorter body types, which offers a truly custom fit harness.

Constructed of Nylon and heavy Cordura and SuperFabric on the wing this system is perfect for the sidemount diver of any experience level.

Using the included conventional Loop Bungee system the position of the sidemount cylinders is easily adjusted to individual preferences.

The complete diving system weighs only { 6.0 lb | 2.5 kg } total when assembled.

Down the Back of the Harness is an ideal spot for Integrated Weights to be threaded on easily thanks to an easily adjustable nylon webbing.

The Light Monkey Sidemount BCD features a large trapezoidal d-ring for a strong and secure anchoring of the harness.

The Light Monkey Sidemount harness is compatible with both Aluminum or Steel cylinders in a variety of sizes, however, is streamlined enough and sturdy enough for expedition diving applications in Mexico, Dominican, Bahamas and other similar locales.

The LM Sidemount BCD offers enough lift for 4-5 AL80’s with a 5-7mm wetsuit or a pair of LP85’s with a stage and deco bottle in a drysuit.  This is not the rig to use with 95’s, 130’s, etc.
