Dive Rite presents the new SL Series of reels.  The Dive Rite Slide Lock Primary Reel 250′ is a heavy duty cave or wreck reel with a heavy duty machined aluminum side handle, slide lock spool mechanism and a rugged Delrin spool that is impact and crack resistant, this reel will last a lifetime of exploring.

Less likely to entangle than other reels on the market,the handle is milled out to allow the spool to fit inside of it, preventing the line from slipping inside the winding mechanism that often causes a reel to fail.

The reel is able to be handled with either hand and wound easily thanks to a side-handle, making it ideal for divers using a light, a dpv, running a survey and more.

Sidewinder-style reels were popularized in the cave and  technical diving community when DIR aficionados began using them for paying out line in deep caves at high speed on a DPV.

Our Sidewinder series of reels are designed to be anti-jam by using precision machine tolerances between the frame and the spool making it nearly impossible for the line to slip between the spool and the handle.

Available in white line or our stocked orange line models, these reels have paved the way to better diving.

Comes standard with a special stainless steel bolt snap.
