Although Nitrox is NOT a Technical Diving Course, it is a stepping stone to get into more advanced forms of diving (Cave, Wreck, Rebreather, Technical). Nitrox is something many people have the wrong idea about. It's NOT for Deep diving or for Technical diving. It allows divers to fill their tanks with a higher partial pressure of Oxygen dropping the Nitrogen content in the cylinder.

This process allows divers to:

Reduce Nitrogen Uptake in the body reducing the risk of Decompression Illness by giving your body much needed oxygen to supply tissue/oxygen demands if diving nitrox as air.
More Bottom Time increasing NO Stop, No Decompression limit. *For Example Diving an EAN40 (40% Oxygen/60% Nitrogen) gives a diver 240 min's of No Decompression time at 60fsw vs. 60ft for 60 min's on USN Recreational Air Diving ables.

Cost is only $200+GST and includes NAUI Nitrox Student Manual and Certification Fee. Students can upgrade to the NAUI Nitrox Student kit for an additional $29.00+GST.
