Details
Our
TDI Advanced Nitrox Course gives students the tools
to handle various Nitrox mixes from 21-100% safely
preparing them for dives requiring staged decompression.
Students will learn a great deal about the Physics
and Physiology behind the gasses involved in this
course and gain extensive academic knowlege that was
started during their journey through basic nitrox.
More
Advanced Concepts such as Decompression Theory with
regards to dissolved, free phase and dual phase gas
models are discussed, as well as emergency procedures,
advanced dive planning, additional breathing alternatives
and more.
This
course is often combined with a our TDI Decompression
Procedures Course or NAUI Decompression Techniques
Course depending on your preference. It is essentially
useless to do just the Advanced Nitrox Course by itself
unless already a certified Decompression Diver.
The
NAUI Technical Nitrox Course offers the same information,
however, students can enroll in the NAUI Helitrox
Course upon successful completion of this program,
allowing students to dive safer and deeper using Helium
Based mixes to a maximum depth of 150'.
Candidates
must be 18 years or older, have 50 logged dives, Rescue
Diver, NAUI Intro to Tech, Deep Diving Experience
in double tanks.

NAUI Intro to Tech is Mandatory for ALL NAUI Technical
diving courses and is HIGHLY Recommended prior to
taking any TDI Technical Courses.
Cost
$495+GST as a stand alone specialty or $795 +GST as
combination with Decompression Procedures or NAUI
Helitrox Diver or Technical Diver level 1 package.
