Matt Mandziuk - Technical Diving Instructor, Cave Diving Instructor Matt was certified for scuba diving in 1994 after growing up with scuba in his veins. When he dove his first shipwreck, that was it. It ignited a passion for diving that will never burn out.
Matt has logged thousands of dives in as many diving environments
possible. In 1998 he began walking down the
leadership path and has since earned ratings
of instructor through NAUI

to Tech to Trimix Level 2 and NAUI's exceptional Cave Diving and WreckSurvey, Wreck Penetration Courses and Technical Wreck

Technical Diving Trimix Instructor, SDI Instructor, Cavern Instructor.
Matt loves to teach diving,
with his favourite Courses to teach being
NAUI's Intro to Tech Course, Trimix, Decompression
Procedures, Wreck penetration, Cavern and Cave Diver, Diver
Propulsion Vehicle and the Open Water Scuba
Diver programs.
What sets Matt apart from the
vast majority of technical diving instructors
and divers is his versatility and his extensive
background in not just shipwreck diving or
deep diving, but also cave diving, wreck and
cave exploration on both backmounted and sidemounted
tanks, as wel as thousands of mixed gas trimix
dives.
You'll often find Matt diving the thousands of Great Lakes shipwrecks and Deep Wall Diving in his backyard of Ontario, Canada, as well as the many great American shipwrecks in the US. Matt is also very fond of diving in the many underwater Caves in Mexico or Florida and even occasionally on one of the many great dive sites that warmer climates have to offer.
Matt's World Class Diving Abilities, Reputation for Excellence, Passion for diving and Attentiveness to students has earned him a following of students from all over the Globe including Canada, USA, Germany, Mexico, Italy and has placed him on many Technical Diving Expeditions, on TV, Radio and in Dive Magazines.
We have flown Matt around the globe to teach all levels of technical diving courses for our store, so if you cannot come to us, we will go to wherever you may be, whether we have to drive or fly to get there. Pay our flight and we'll be there.
Matt was one of North America's
First Instructors to be offering Recreational
and Technical Diving Instruction using the
Doing it Right approach to diver skill, philosophy
and equipment configuration. He was also one
of the first instructors to teach sidemount
in Canada and has been diving and teaching
sidemount diving since before sidemount was
"cool".
Matt is an authorized repair technician for many major brands of equipment as well as a certified OUC and PSI Visual Tank Inspector, Gas Blender for every major agency, a Gas Blender Instructor for PADI DSAT and NAUI Tech, as well as a NAUI Service Technician Instructor.
Matt is also a Professional Musician taking time on occasion to play live on stage or in the recording studio. Matt has recorded for some of the best bands you've never heard of, as well as his own solo projects.
Matt is always working on a
project or getting ready to explore a unique
dive site very few have. 2011 projects include
diving the Gunilda, Empress of Ireland, U-869,
Andrea Doria, Great White Shark Diving, the
Thomas Scott shipwreck and more.
Matt has also successfully finished
his cave diving instructor course recently
this year and will be offering cave training
in Florida and Mexico on a regular basis.
While there area a lot of choices
in technical diving instruction, make no mistake,
there are few equal programs world-wide that
