Successful Completion of the entire course.
The Open Water Dive Course will
give divers with no experience the information
about the equipment, diving science, basic
concepts such as trim and buoyancy, fin technique,
weighting, pressure, volume, diving orientations,
specialized equipment, basic decompression
theory, diving accidents and first aid treatment,
dive planning and table use. We share a number
of more advanced concepts in water not taught
anywhere in Niagara which is yet another reason
why our scuba courses are the best scuba courses
in the business.
The Open Water Course is a beginner
program and is designed for students to go
further on in their training participating
in continuing education to improve technique,
knowledge and gain more comfort in different
diving environments above and beyond (or in
this case diving below) the basic open water
course, as well as extending their depth rating.
All Open Water Dive Students should have their own personal Scuba Diving Quality Silicone Mask, Strap Fins, Snorkel and booties for their course, as it's the bare minimum required equipment to participate in scuba diving. Dan offers the Largest Selection and Widest Ranges of Pricing you'll find on Scuba and Snorkelling Equipment.
Brock is also the Best option for Youths and Adults. Parents why not take our course with your loved ones? Brock is also the Best pool in the Niagara Region to train for Scuba Diving offering an Olympic Size Facility with 14 feet of depth.
Students who cannot commit to a structured course involving attendence to all 6 classroom sessions can work with us through independant study using our PADI Interactive Program Package and our on-Staff Instructors to go over the academics. Pool Sessions will have to be completed within the specified guidelines, however, make-up sessions are available, see staff for more details. The pool sessions progressively build on previous skills each week with divers improving their comfort and familiarity with each session.
