Additional Details
Your Path to Master Scuba Diver is not complete without experiencing the benefits of deeper diving. Deep Diving (60-130') requires special training and special equipment to Safely enage in this activity. All students must first accept the fact that if they are going to dive in a deep diving environment that they are going to have to own Deep Diving Equipment and become familiar with it's operation.

All Deep Divers MUST have a Long hose of 5-7 feet for air sharing emergencies, a Redundant Air Supply Such as a Pony Bottle or a set of Double Tanks, a Reel with at least 140' of line on it, a Surface Marker Bag or Lift Bag, 2 cutting tools and at least 2 lights for open water diving(Primary and 1 Back-up). Once you have all of the required gear, you are ready to start learning how to use this equipment.

Our PADI Deep Diver Course is taught in a similar way to our NAUI Intro to Tech Course. Students who want to dive deep on air with no redundant scuba, little to no safety equipment, a bulky, obsolete gear configuration and just want a certification card can take training elsewhere.

We take Deep Diving Training VERY SERIOUSLY. Wreck, Cave, Deep and Technical Diving are our Primary Influences and the reason why we teach the Best training programs.

Anyone can drop down to the bottom and do a deep dive, it's the skills, knoweledge and proper attitude and diver awareness that gets you back up to the surface Safely.

Deep divers will learn a lot about benefits of diving deeper (Bigger Wrecks, More to See, Better divers on the boat, etc), learn how to use their specialized equipment under the direct supervision of a Certified Instructor who is a Certified and Qualified Technial Diver, students will also learn about a multitude of topics including the physiology of inert gas narcosis, benefits of Mixed Gasses, diving with Helium Based Mixes, Decompression Theory and Application, Dive Planning, Redundancy, Emergency Procedures, Bail out procedures, Gas Requirements, Consumption Rates, Dive Contingencies, Accident Analysis and more.

Students will complete 6 dives for certification. Upon Sucessful Completion of our Deep Diver Specialty Students will be more prepared to face more advanced forms of diving including Wreck, Cave, Deep Walls or Technical.

Minimum age 18, Advanced Open Water + 25 logged dives are required.

Course Cost is $299 +HST includes PADI Deep Diving Manual, certification fee.
